A Message from the Director of Athletics

In 2008-09, our membership climbed to 821 members, which was an increase of 55 percent. With the help of donors and fund raising drives, we received nearly $1.1 million dollars in unrestricted gifts to our Ram Athletic Fund, which was also an increase of 58 percent, over that same time span.

This growth has allowed VCU Athletics to put our coaches and student-athletes in a position to be successful, in the classroom and in competition! For us to be able to continue to operate at this high level and have all these great things to celebrate, we need you now more than ever! Your generosity has taken us far and we thank you for your continual support of the Ram Athletic Fund.

Our goal for this membership year is to set a new record for total membership by exceeding 1,000 members for the first time in our history!
